Senior Accountant-CPA required (Public plus) (LUV) at Robert Half Finance & Accounting U.S., Atlanta, GA

Classification:  Accountant - Senior

Compensation:  $67,500.99 to $80,000.00 per year

My client located in Sandy Springs, GA is looking for a Senior Accountant-CPA Required (Public Plus) and reporting to the Assistant Controller

• The senior accountant is responsible for all finance and accounting aspects of his/her assigned projects, working directly with directors, equity partners and lenders
  
• Responsible for performing various tasks related to the month end close, including booking journal entries, preparing variance analysis and reconciling balance sheet accounts
  
• Profit/Loss Analysis, revenue analysis, ad-hoc reporting, cash flow analysis
  
• Ensure all transactions are accounted for properly and in accordance with the operating agreement (acquisitions, dispositions, loan extensions and closings, etc).
  
• Assisting with the monthly close, year end close, financial statement preparation
  
• Better understand the business aspects of the projects for analytical and cash flow purposes
  
• Interact directly with lenders and equity partners: In the preparation of draw requests and capital calls to ensure timely funding
  
• Work with external auditors to complete required financial statement audits, reviews, and agreed upon procedures

Have a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or Economics
Have 3+ years of Accounting or related experience.
Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in managing goals through collaboration and teamwork and leading financial reporting, financial variance analysis, product line analytics, and product development analyses, and close process
Have good written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and oral/written/presentation communication skills required.
CPA desired!!
Public Accounting is a plus
